ADR-0013 · accepted · 11 October 2026

Private-source work is self-reported in every context, and every CV statement links to its support

Context

The evidence model (ADR-0008) allowed private ("proprietary") evidence only for employment. Most of my work is private for other reasons: products I own (ChartX, Fluxa) and personal prototypes (MyAgent, Soul). Labelling them employment would be false; leaving them out would hide real work. Separately, the CV and the site must tell the same story, and a reader of the CV should be able to reach the support for each statement in one click.

Options

  • Treat own products as employment. Inaccurate, and it would blur the employment boundary.
  • Make private personal work public evidence. Impossible without publishing the repositories.
  • Add a venture (own product) context, allow private evidence in venture and personal-lab, and keep the cap: private evidence is never TESTED or MEASURED and never cited as CV evidence.

Decision

The third option. PRODUCTION still requires employment. CV bullets gain an optional see link to a case-study section, proof page or collection; the audit resolves each one against the snapshot and fails the build if it does not exist. CV project bullets about private projects use a new project-record basis, allowed only for projects with a case study. On /resume, each statement shows its link and whether it is self-reported; the printed CV hides those annotations.

Consequences

  • The site can show all of my work while keeping the rule that only public tests count as verified.
  • A broken CV-to-site link is a build failure, not a dead link discovered by a recruiter.
  • The public CV PDF is printed from the same page as before; the private copy differs only by a phone number inserted at print time, which never enters the repository.
